Day 3 - Draw your favorite food

This one did not go as well as the others. Still lifes are much harder to create than character for me it seems. After some fumbling around with different styles I decided to try out a charcoal style in painter which turned out.. well.. bad.

Thesis Crit 1

Hard to believe I'm working on my thesis already... It's also hard to believe that working 12+ hours a day in the labs feels normal as well.

There was a faculty critique yesterday on our character models and story, Steve Hickner a director and story board artist for Dreamworks was there. Very nice guy and extremely helpful with story and camera shots. Here is my work that was shown.

This is the newest version of the story, however there are still many changes to be made.

Here are the model sheets I used to help me make the characters and set in 3d.

Here are the 3d turn arounds of the characters, also still many changes to be made.
